SBS practices standards of industry.  The following statements may help you understand your expectations when using Smith Building Services quality maintenance.  Please contact us if you have any questions. 

SBS is a very fair, honest and caring company.  We are happy when our client's are.  Our great pride comes from doing great work and providing above standard quality repairs and services.   Our employees are non-smoking and wear protective shoe covers when entering your home, office, suite, business upon request.

If you're ever dissatisfied with a service preformed please contact the office immediately for a review.  We want to do an excellent job and appreciate the chance to meet your expectations. 

You may be asked to sign and return contracts, this and other forms to a representative of Smith Building Services.

There is a one hour working minimum charge.

You do not have a "bid" unless it is in writing.  All charges will be made on a "time and materials" basis. 

This includes time driving to purchase materials but you will never be charged a mileage fee for a technician to drive to your job site as many companies do. 

Billing due 30 days from invoice date, Late fee is 1.5% per month on the balance due.  *Unless prior agreement is made, which we will gladly accomodate.

$25.00 NSF for returned checks.

Maintenance Fees: $49.00 first hour, $35.00 each additional hours plus materials.  Emergency Maintenenace Fees: $64.00 per hour plus materials.

Missed Appointment Fee:  If you, your tenant or client (with your permission) has scheduled an appointment and are not available or ready for your work order to be done, you will be responsible for the technicians time and mileage of $39.99 due within 30 days of the missed appointment.  Late fees will apply on and after 30 days.

Work Order Cancellation Policy:  Please cancel appointments at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.  A $25.00 cancellation fee may apply for work orders cancelled or delayed with less then 24 hours notice.

Trauma Scene Abatement: $250.00 first hour plus disposal, includes materials.  $200.00 each additional hour plus disposal, includes materials.  Urgent/after hours appointments: $300.00 per hour plus biohazard disposal.

We will not collect or request payment at the time of service from Trauma victims or their family members.  Our accounting department will bill insurance directly, if available and help you seek victims benefits or open a low interest credit line with NO preapproval required.

Our Trauma Scene Cleaners will arrive in discreetly marked maintenance vehicles, treat you compassionately and provide a thorough professional sanitation process.  Items unable to be cleaned will be disposed of according to the law.
